Sharjah’s Department of Agriculture & Livestock chose SmartBeePro to support hive monitoring and bring data into everyday apiary management.

The project aims to connect 5,000 hives to strengthen hive monitoring and help the team make decisions informed by data, as part of the department’s work towards sustainable, innovative beekeeping practices.

Beekeeper.Tech supplied 120 SmartBeePro devices, with receipt confirmed by the customer in January 2026. The September 2026 project update reported the devices deployed across the apiaries. This describes the documented project scope, not a live count of connected devices.
Support beyond the delivery.
Coordination with the customer’s team covered training plans for installation, activation, configuration, interpreting readings and troubleshooting. Technical follow-up continued through 2026, including guidance on using relocation mode when moving hives to help preserve battery life.
